Each campus at SVC, Mount Vernon and Whidbey, has its own legislature and Program Board. The campus legislatures handle the day to day and weekly issues present on their home campuses. These campus legislatures then participate cooperatively, once a month, in a district-wide government meeting.

Supported by the Services and Activities fee, Program Board builds campus community through a diverse spectrum of extracurricular and co-curricular programs that contribute to campus life by promoting interactive and intercultural experience. Students plan events and activities, assist various campus departments, publicize events and support student clubs.

At present, the Directors of Student Life, who oversee and coordinate the ASSVC and Program Board are Brian Murphy for the Mount Vernon Campus and Lisa Zenno for the Whidbey Island Campus.
